Short Quotation

The Tag <q> defines Short quotation. Closing Tag for quotation is </q>.

Example:

<p>Shakespeare says <q>There is nothing good or bad but thinking makes it so.</q></p>

Browser insert quotation mark around <q> tag.

Output:

Shakespeare says There is nothing good or bad but thinking makes it so.

Block quote Quotation

It defines Quotation that is quoted from another source.

<p>Quote from website:</p> <blockquote cite="https://www.brainyquote.com/authors/william_shakespeare"> There is nothing good or bad but thinking makes it so.</blockquote>

HTML Abbreviations

The Tag <abbr> defines abbreviation. Closing Tag is </abbr>.

Example:

<p>The <abbr title="World Wide Web">WWW</abbr> is combination of all resources and users on the Internet that are using the Hypertext Transfer Protocol.</p>

The Tag <bdo> defines Bidirectional text. Closing Tag is </bdo>.

Example:--

NOTE: Default direction is left to right.
